about DURBAN BAY SHIP CHANDLERS
Durban Bay Ship Chandlers was established in 1991 primarily to serve Greek vessels entering the ports of Durban and Richards Bay.
These ports are situated on the east coast of South Africa and provide efficient access to the growing economies of South and Southern Africa. Since inception, Durban Bay Ship Chandlers has established a strong foothold in this economic zone and now supplies an infinite variety of vessels from all parts of the world.
Durban Bay Ship Chandlers boasts extensive warehousing facilities and can supply the majority of items needed by any ocean-going vessel. Our experienced staff are both skilled and dedicated and chandling services are available on every port working day, as well as weekends and public holidays.
All goods are delivered by our own in-house fleet, which consists of refrigerated and non-refrigerated closed trucks, large capacity open flatbed trucks and lesser capacity rigid trucks for small-scale deliveries.
The company also offers an in-house clearing and forwarding service to handle the customs clearing of goods. This facilitates swift and efficient deliveries to every vessel.
Our sales representatives are fluent in many languages and fully trained in all of the complex and challenging aspects of shipboard supply and chandling.
